What This Data Means — For Quick Client Selection

• Choose ALF when vibration exists
  Ideal for compressor skid, DG room, boiler house, nitrogen manifolds → eliminates pointer shake.

• Liquid-filled = Pointer Stability
  Glycerin/silicone inside absorbs mechanical pulsation → accurate visible reading, no fatigue damage.

• Corrosion Selection:
  • Brass wetted parts → normal air/water duty

  • SS316 → chemicals / washdown / pharma plants

  • Monel → chlorine / aggressive gas line (special order)

• Max temp awareness:
  Not for direct steam due to fill fluid expansion →
  steam lines must use siphon + snubber OR dry-case option.

• Better Life vs Dry Gauges:
  Internal movement protected → longer service life, fewer calibration drifts.

When NOT to choose ALF:
If medium temp > +65°C → glycerin expands → use AFF / ATD steam-rated gauge instead.
