Working Principle – How Hygienic Transmitters Work

Step-by-Step Working

  1. Process pressure presses against the flush stainless-steel diaphragm.
  2. A food-grade silicon oil (or dry-cell option) transfers pressure to the internal sensor chip.
  3. The piezoresistive sensing element detects diaphragm deformation.
  4. Signal conditioning electronics:
    • Linearize
    • Temperature compensate
    • Convert to 4–20 mA / IO-Link output
  5. Final output is sent to PLC/SCADA/DCS.
