SA5000

What This Data Means — For Quick Client Selection

✔ Best for flow/no-flow protection

SA5000 is ideal when the requirement is flow presence monitoring, not volumetric measurement.

✔ Wide pipe-size flexibility

Insertion design allows use across small to large pipelines with one sensor.

✔ Rugged industrial construction

Suitable for harsh industrial environments, cooling water, and machine utilities.

✔ Easy local setup & visibility

LED bargraph helps operators visually confirm flow condition without PLC access.

✔ Low maintenance & long life

No moving parts → no wear, no clogging, stable long-term performance.

Description

IFM SA5000 is a compact calorimetric insertion-type flow sensor designed for reliable flow monitoring of liquids in industrial automation and utility systems. Using the thermal dispersion principle, it detects flow based on heat loss from the sensor tip to the moving medium. With robust stainless-steel construction, intuitive LED display, adjustable switching points, and no moving parts, SA5000 is ideal for cooling water, process water, utility lines, and general-purpose flow/no-flow detection.
