✔ Selection Parameters — What They Mean for Clients

1. Choose by Industry / Hygiene Requirement

  • Dairy, Beverage, Pharma:
    → Select tri-clamp / hygienic connections + PTFE/PFA liner + SS316L electrodes 
  • Ultrapure Water / WFI / RO Plants:
    → Select PFA liner + platinum or titanium electrodes 
  • Corrosive Chemicals:
    → Choose Hastelloy C electrodes + PTFE liner 

2. Choose Liner Based on Media

Liner Best For
PFA High-purity, aggressive chemicals, hygienic fluids
PTFE Sanitary processing, acids, solvents, pharma
Ceramic Abrasive slurries, high wear applications
Hard Rubber Water & wastewater, general utilities

3. Accuracy Requirement

  • Batching, filling, pharma dosing:
    → Go for highest accuracy ±0.2% 
  • General utility water:
    → Standard accuracy sufficient 

4. Process Temperature & Pressure

  • Select 130°C SIP/CIP-ready versions for dairy & pharma 
  • For chemical plants: match max pressure (up to 40 bar) 

5. Electrical & Communication Needs

  • For SCADA/PLC integration:
    HART / Modbus 
  • For advanced digital plants:
    Profibus / EtherNet/IP 

6. Environmental Protection

  • IP68 for underground pits, WTP/STP, wet areas 
  • IP67 for machine-mounted hygienic zones
